Ramen in white sauce, with a spicy kick of Indian masala
I’ve been craving me some ramen for some time. What better than making it with some desi masalas!
For making it for 3 people, you will need
Veggies marinated in yogurt - follow the rule of half
1/2 cup peppers cubed
1/2 cup mushrooms cubed
1/2 cup onions cubed
1/2 cup soaked soya nuggets (optional)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 T mustard oil
1/2 t garam masala
1/2 t coriander powder
1/2 t chat masala
1/2 t cumin powder
Add all the spices and oil to yogurt and toss the veggies in it. Add salt to taste.
Method for prepping veggies
Preheat the oven at 230 c
Keep the marinated veggies aside for 15 minutes, or you could bung it in the oven straight away.
Keep it in the oven for 25 minutes flipping midway.
White sauce - the rule of one
1 T of butter
1 t of flour
1 cup of milk
1 t garlic paste
1 t black pepper ground
Pinch of salt
Method for cooking sauce
Add butter in a pan
Once it melts, add the flour
After a couple of minutes of stirring the flour, add the milk and boil.
Add garlic paste and pepper.
Once the sauce thickens, remove from heat.
Meanwhile prepare ramen as per the packet instructions
Add the baked veggies, ramen into the sauce and mix gently.
Serve hot and yummy!
